3 At Royal LePage, we know that a house is only truly a home if the people who live there feel safe and loved. For the thousands of women and children who experience violence and abuse under their own roof, we make it possible for them to have safety, hope and help to rebuild their lives.

5 How shelters use our donations
Beyond just a safe place to stay, shelters provide a range of services, resources and supports that allow women to grow and thrive as survivors. Therapeutic counseling for women and children Training and job placement Help for legal, health and housing issues Support for children and youth Shelter renovations and new construction Helping women and children move out of the shelter and live independently

6 Last year, through our national support of the Canadian Women’s Foundation, ,000 teens learned about healthy relationships. Results showed: Better able to deal with conflict Improved communication Know where to go for help for self or others 91% of students reported learning what relationship violence looks like

Over $1 MILLION raised in Ontario alone during 2015 through Commission Donations and fundraising events! Over 70 fundraising events hosted by Royal LePage offices in Ontario National Garage Sale for Shelter at 60 locations Thank you to all the Commission Donors, event organizers and everyone who made financial and in-kind contributions.

8 Thanks to our amazing Machu Picchu trekkers and their supporters, an incredible $500,000 was raised!

Congratulations JoAnn Jusdanis, Jeff Nethercott, Kathy Dawson, Bruno Gendron and all our participants from Ontario and many thanks to their supporters!

10 Other highlights from 2015 National Garage Sale for Shelter: More than $250,000 raised taking us to over $2.25 million! Over $55,000 raised at the National Leadership Conference and at Headstart Highest number of donors ever! 100% of the funds we raise help women, children and teens live free from violence.

Agent/Broker feedback survey (1st quarter) Campaign to promote Commission Donor program Agents asking fellow agents: Join me in supporting…. “Shelter Foundation Family” campaign Honour roll (offices with high percentage of donors) New customizable greeting card on the Marketing Centre that Commission Donors can send to their clients. New posters: for your reception area (client facing) and to promote Commission Donor program to your agents

National Leadership Conference (Nashville) and National Sales Conference (Las Vegas) -- Please donate an item to the Shelter Auction and come prepared to bid generously! We’ll announce 2017 Charity Challenge fundraising trip!
