COPY HOMEWORK INTO YOUR AGENDA.
BELLWORK WILL EITHER BE GIVEN TO YOU AT THE DOOR OR
BELLWORK WILL BE ON THE PROJECTOR.
SIT DOWN AND BEGIN BELLWORK IMMEDIATELY UPON SITTING IN YOUR SEAT.

3. When and How do I Ask the Teacher a Question?
When can I Ask a question?
Answer:
1. After the teacher is done giving the lesson or finished speaking.
How do I Ask a question?
Answers:
1. Raise your hand
2.Wait for the teacher to be finished teaching the lesson.
3. Wait for her to call upon you.
4. Ask calmly and politely

4. How do we collect papers in Ms. Dean’s class?
1. Last person in the row passes his/her paper to the person in front of them.
2.The next person places his paper on top of the last person’s paper
3. Then he passes his/her paper to the person in front of him.
4.That person places his paper on top of the last person’s paper.
5. Then he passes his/her paper to the row leader.
6. The row leader makes sure he/she has ALL the papers in his row.
7. The row leader waits for the teacher to come and collect the papers from him. Do NOT get out of your seat to turn in papers!!!!

5. How do we pass papers back to students?
Teacher will pass papers to row leaders.
Row leaders will pass them back.
Graded papers will be passed back by teacher.

6. When can I Sharpen my pencil? How do I ask for a pencil?
1.Sharpen your pencil BEFORE the bell rings!
2. If you do not have a pencil, you are to raise your hand and ask to borrow one.
3. If you borrow a pencil from the teacher, you must leave your shoe at the desk.
4. Shoe returned when pencil returned. Refusal to give a shoe is refusal to get a pencil. Sorry!

7. Using the Bathroom 1. Raise your hand and ask permission.
2. Bring your agenda to the teacher.
3. You Sign and date it.
4. Wait for the teacher to sign it.

8. How do I get my literature book and return it when I am finished?
A designated student will get the book cube.
This student will pass out the literature books.
This same student will get the book cube 4 MINUTES BEFORE THE BELL RINGS.
Pass your books up to the row leader.
The row leader will place them in the book cube and return the book cube to the table.

9. How are we dismissed at the end of each class period?
Last four minutes of class will be dedicated to:
STAYING IN YOUR SEAT!!
COLLECTING PAPERS.
PACKING UP YOUR THINGS.
STAYING QUIET.
The row that has packed up, has all papers ready to be picked up, are all in their seats, and quiet, is the row that will be dismissed first!
