WEE1 inhibition followed by TRAIL treatment results in apoptotic cell death in MB231 cells. A, the percentage of cells with sub-G1 DNA content was measured by propidium iodide staining after 21 hours of WEE1 (10 μmol/L) inhibition or 17 hours of treatment with TRAIL (100 ng/mL) or pretreatment with WEE1 inhibitor (10 μmol/L) for 4 hours followed by TRAIL treatment (100 ng/mL) for 17 hours. The graph represents the mean values ± SEM of 3 independent experiments.
