Stock and Production Records Controller Middlesbrough, UK

Our manufacturing site at Middlesbrough in the UK (Seqens Custom Specialities, formerly Chemoxy International Limited) is one of Europe’s largest contract manufacturers with more than 150 years of operating experience. It has two sites on Teesside employing over 160 people and is now one of Europe’s largest providers of custom manufacturing services to blue chip petrochemical and speciality chemical companies as well as to smaller companies with niche applications. Seqens is a great place to work and as a Stock and Production Records Controller your efforts will have a positive impact from day one. The position utilises the plant operation knowledge to ensure accurate and timely production data is entered into the ERP system and made available to Business partners and management for the Middlesbrough and Billingham sites. Main tasks: Maintaining Production Records (Mass Balances) for multiple plants across 2 sites Recording Physical Stock Movements into ERP System on a daily basis Investigate stock discrepancies (which will include from time to time to go on site and count physical stock) Reconciliation of Physical Stock to ERP System Weekly and Monthly Closing Production Campaigns per month with Plant Managers Provide Cover for Production Records Clerk and Production Planner when necessary

Required skills: Good attention to detail and accuracy Ability to investigate discrepancies Ability to communicate effectively Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Good organisational and planning skills Excellent IT Skills (Microsoft Office, SharePoint etc.) Knowledge of ERP Systems Experience in the Chemical Industry would be desirable Must be eligible to work in the UK Location: Middlesbrough Remuneration: A competitive starting salary plus group personal pension scheme, private healthcare and other competitive benefits.
