Home – School Partnership
In your KS2 Home school pack you will find a Home-School partnership document. A Home-School partnership is an agreement between the school, parents and child and sets out the expectations of each party. Every school has one and is a good way for everyone to understand and know their responsibilities. Please read this and ask if you have any queries.
5
Homework In KS2 , homework will be given out on a Friday to be handed back in on Wednesday - to allow children time to practise their spellings. Please support your child when needed.
6
Reading In addition to the homework set, children are expected to spend at least minutes reading every day. Please listen to them read and ask questions to ensure they understand what they are reading. Reading records: Children should write comments about the books they are reading a minimum of three times a week. Parents should initial the books to say that their child has read
7
Spelling Every week we will send home a list of spellings in your child’s homework folder. Please help your child practise as they will be tested the following week at school; please do not remove the spellings from the folder; we will change them at school when necessary.
