Weekly Results Tasks for Clubs
Recommend making this a requirement within competitions STEP 1 – SELECT TEAMS Complete prior to the game in MyCricket Admin STEP 2 – ENTER RESULT Basic Match Result (winner / loser) and team scores Enter ASAP following end of the match STEP 3 – ENTER PLAYER SCORES Enter ASAP using a copy of scoresheet / book Used to calculate overall player stats and awards

Easy to do once your player information is in. Select Teams -> Enter Results -> Update Scorecard. TEAMS Tab … Matches -> Enter Player Scores

The best way for players and supporters to follow scores, stats, ladders, fixtures and news. App version of the MyCricket public websites Check any live scores plus completed results, ladders and stats

Online vs. Offline A common thought is you must be online to use the Scorer App – this is FALSE Scorers only need to be online at two points, and both can be done at home either side of the game: Login to the Scorer App and download your match Sync any results from the App to MyCricket All scoring can be done offline and will remain within the App until you sync the results. The App uses approx. 500KB of data per 80 overs

Updates for 2019/20 Based on early September Release Editing balls flows through to changing strike batters Delete balls from previous overs Add nicknames to players Edit ball to edit a wicket / change dismissed batter QLD Cricket will again be using MyCricket Live Score for all Junior State Championships

Match Set Up Login using your credentials and adjust the settings on your right. Your club will need to provide you with login details.

Recommend selecting in MyCricket Admin but not required Add Players or Add Unknown Player located at bottom of screen Enter any name in Unknown Player and score normally Full match will upload correctly Can swap results directly to profile via MC Admin Player will need to register correctly to swap info Use Unknown Player for casuals, fill ins or player swaps Can access Team Selection from Live Score screen to change Wicket Keepers

Match Settings Explained
Most already established by Association Association sets Match Format (eg 50 over, Stage 2 etc) Confirm Balls / Batting Minutes / Full Names / Wagon Wheels RECOMMEND – Confirm and Names ON Wagon Wheels – OFF Overs / Limitations / Max Balls per Over / Values / Balls Faced RETIREMENTS – Prompts for scorers (Runs or Balls Faced)

Scoring Scenarios SCORING – All scoring happens at the scoring bar down the bottom, and each ball will populate on the right-hand side. EDITING – Each ball has an edit symbol assigned to it – open that to edit that ball. Any changes to runs you make here will flow through, can also add/delete a ball or a wicket UNDO – Blue symbol– goes right back to the 1st ball of the innings VIEW SCORECARD – Top right corner, use this for all scorecard edits other than the UNDO method. CHANGING BATTERS / BOWLER DUE TO ERROR / INJURY – Select their name on your scoring screen and follow the change prompts. Select the correct player and all recorded balls will flow through. RETIRED BATTERS – Select their name and Change Batter. Select the new batter and when prompted, choose “Retiring Not Out” CHANGE STRIKE – Select one batter, and Change Strike WICKET – Select the red button and follow the prompts. You will be taken back to the live screen and confirm wicket with a TICK RUN OUTS – Record the wicket and ensure the top menu (Batter Out) lists the correct player run out. You will be taken back to the live page and can ADD RUNS by selecting the value, then TICK

Scoring Scenarios NO BALL + RUNS – Always select No Ball first then add Bye / Leg Bye if applicable, followed by value of Runs scored. WIDES – A standard Wide recorded with the TICK, but when additional runs are scored the Wide value needs to be included. If batters run, enter the total value for the WIDE and RUNS WICKET OFF EXTRAS – Record the Extra including values, then select WICKET and complete details. Confirm all with the TICK. PENALTY RUNS – Located at the 5+ scoring option CONFIRM BALLS OFF / ON –Match Settings menu in the top right LATE TEAM SELECTION – Add players via the menu in the top right UNKNOWN PLAYER – Add at Team Selection and score normally END INNINGS – Select Match Actions at the bottom and close innings (select Close Innings Type as All Out or Compulsory Close) then select Done in the top right. You will be asked to confirm. NEXT INNINGS – From the blank screen select New Innings (located next to the red icon) and follow the prompts. END MATCH – Match Actions – End Match and follow the prompts. Once scorecards are checked select Done in the top right and choose save and exit (if offline) or Finalise to sync the result.

Converting Unknown Player to a known player
Have the player register or transfer correctly through MyCricket / PlayCricket first, and then add them via Team Selection

Best Practice Tips Make sure you do one practice run before your first game! QLD CRICKET STRONGLY RECOMMENDS ONE SCOREBOOK AND ONE MYCRICKET APP FOR EACH GAME – THIS IS THE STANDARD FOR FIRST CLASS, W/BBL AND PREMIER CRICKET Get familiar with edit options – Blue Undo button is great Select your teams before the game – device fully charged Custom Match & Demo Match – built in with footage available Freeze – Hard reset and reload the match again DON’T PANIC – Can always fix it later in scorecard or Admin
