2 Do now:

3 Objective: I will be able to: Display numerical data in plots on a number line, including dot plots, histograms, and box plots. I will also be able to summarize numerical data sets in relation to their context, such as by: giving quantitative measures of center (median and/or mean) and variability (interquartile range and/or mean absolute deviation). So that I can: analyze, summarize, and display the data from my statistical question. I will show that I understood it by analyzing the numerical data, verbally discussing with my group to start creating our group poster with at least 80% accuracy. 6.SP. A.4 6.SP. A.5

4 Vocabulary: Data statistical data collection tool Analyze Summarize
graphical model dot plot box and whiskers histogram

5 Developing a Statistical Project (as a review)
Over the past few days, you have been working in a small group to apply the skills you have learned from statistics to create and implement your own statistical project. Your group will: Create a statistical question. Determine a data collection tool. Gather the data using the collection tool from at least students. Organize the data you have collected and graph the data in at least 2 different ways. Utilize the graphs to answer your statistical question. Create a visual (poster) that includes your statistical question, graphs, measures of center and variability (mean, median, mode, MAD, range) Prepare a presentation
