Homework & Tests Homework: Week of February 18: pg : “Drawing Two Dimensional Figures” Checkpoint Quizzes: February 22: 9’s Multiplication Facts Unit 5 Assessment: March 8th: (Tenative) Covers all standards and skills covered in Unit 5 (including area and perimeter, polygons and symmetry, measuring angles, and angles in motion) Math 4.MD.3: Apply the area and perimeter formulas for a rectangle to solve a problem. 4.MD.6: Use a protractor to measure angles in whole degrees and sketch an angle of a specified measure. 4.MD.7: Solve problems involving finding the unknown angle in a diagram, using addition and subtraction. 4.G.1: Identify angles (right, acute, obtuse) and perpendicular and parallel lines in 2-D figures. 4.G.2: Classify 2-D figures based on the presence or absence of parallel lines, perpendicular lines, or angles of a specified size. 4.G.2: Identify right triangles. 4.G.3: Identify and draw lines of symmetry and identify figures with lines of symmetry. Important Dates All homework will be assigned at the beginning of each week (Monday) and will be due the Friday of the same week at 8 a.m CASE Testing: February 20th and 21st February 26th: Field Trip Reminders: Weekly progress reports were sent home on Friday, February 15. Please sign and return on Monday, February 18. The next weekly progress reports will be sent home on Thursday, February 28.
