Clari-Fi Clari-Fi creates large-screen simulations of e-commerce images. These give an indication of the details that can be discerned from that image when it is displayed at thumbnail size on a mobile phone. How to use In order to use this tool, you must first enable PowerPoint macros. If you haven’t done so already, please follow the instructions at clarifi.inclusivedesigntoolkit.com/download Opening this presentation adds tab labelled ‘Clari-Fi’ to your ribbon. This tab contains a new button labelled ‘Simulate Mobile Images’. The ‘Clari-Fi’ tab only exists while you are working with this presentation. This version processes .jpg and .png image files. To create the simulated images, first click on this button, then choose any number of image files. Image files must have at least 400 pixels on the longest side. When prompted, enter the size at which the images will appear within the retailer store on a mobile device (or accept the default value of 16 mm x 16 mm). New slides will automatically be created for all of the images that you selected, displaying mobile simulated versions of these images. Images are shown 2 per slide. Licensing notes When you click on the button to Simulate Mobile Images, you will be prompted to enter a licence key. If you do not enter a key, the simulations will be produced in ‘demo’ mode. Any simulations produced will be watermarked with ‘DEMO’. If you enter a key, simulations are produced without any watermarking. This licence key is stored on the computer that you are using at the time. You may save and distribute this PowerPoint file without restriction. If you send this file to someone that does not have a valid licence key, any new simulations created by the recipient will be watermarked with ‘DEMO’. However, simulations that have already been produced are unaffected. Contact:
