A Note from the Teacher
What’s Happening in...
We will still be accepting “dog items” for our raffle basket until September 11th. Thank you to the parents who have already donated! I hope everyone can make it to the carnival on September 13th! 
If you haven’t sent in supply fees please send them in soon.
Help your child learn their lunch pin number. Their lunch number is written inside their red folder to practice.
If you are sending in lunch/breakfast money put it in a baggie or envelope with their first and last name and lunch pin on it and put it in their folder.
If your child has any extra school supplies inside their backpack, please leave them at home. They can use them for future homework.
Please put all notes in your child’s folder.
It is helpful to review any of the letters or numbers we work on at school so your child starts becoming familiar with them. Making flashcards helps.
Don’t forget to clean out your child’s red folder each night to make sure you don’t miss any important papers.
Review the goals for the end of the quarter. Your child needs to be able to identify 26 letters, 7 sounds, identify numbers 0-20, count 20 objects, and count to They also need to be able to write their name with a capital letter at the beginning and lowercase letters for the rest of the name.
Letter recognition – I introduced the letters Ff, Gg, Hh, Ii. We also continued learning the Phonics Dance! We know letters Aa-Hh 
Math – calendar routine and counting to 16.
