The National Guard was called in and used live ammunition, wounding nine and killing four

7. March of 1972, North Vietnam launches its largest attack on the South since Tet

8. January, 1973: The US signs an agreement to end the war

9. March, 1973: The last US combat troops leave Vietnam

10. April, 1975: North Vietnamese forces capture Saigon, the capital of South Vietnam
