2. What is the role of language in the society?
How do we show our identity through language? 
This course will provide an overview of language as an aspect of social life. It examines variations in language that are determined by age, region, gender, social status, etc. The purpose of this course is to develop a critical understanding of how linguistic diversity can be managed in various social settings, including multiethnic workplace, urban space, social media, court and education.

- use the most important terms and concepts for analyzing a language environment and to explain their decision about policies at school, at home, at work, within a government building, city street
