2 Great Britain Holidays: Christmas
In the UK, Christmas is a great family holiday. Catholic Christmas is known to be celebrated on December 25th. On the eve of the holiday many families decorate the Christmas tree or even two together and it is an integral Christmas tradition. Christmas trees grew popular in Britain at the time of Prince Albert, who was born in Germany. He introduced his way to celebrate Christmas in England. Also, for the decorating of houses traditionally use acne, ivy and mistletoe. Cities and villages are decorated with garlands during Christmas. The most famous Christmas lights in Britain are on Oxford Street in London. Thousands of people come to see how they light somewhere in early November.

The traditions and customs of Christmas in Ukraine differ significantly from those of Europe or those that we see in American films.
