Sent to European Parliament for 3 months scrutiny – deadline end August (1 month extension possible)
Subject to EP’s observations, it is expected to be adopted in autumn by the Commission

4. Intercalibration Work Programme 2008-2011
Main part already endorsed in Lisbon
Geographical Intercalibration Groups (GIG) specific work plans added – except Baltic Sea that meets tomorrow
GIG plans to be seen as living documents
The document has been sent to the European Parliament as a accompanying document to the decision

Water Directors are invited to
Endorse the updated work programme
Take note of the need to commit sufficient resources to the process
