1 Prioritize Prioritize what you need to do. What is most important? Look at what assessments/homework tasks you have coming up and when they are all due. Think about how much time you will need to spend on each task and how much time you have before it is due to work on each task.

2 Write a ‘To-Do List’ Each day make a ‘To Do List’ put the tasks you prioritized at the top of the list. Schedule time in your day to achieve these tasks Check off the tasks as they are completed, this is very satisfying!

3 Set Goals For each large task (i.e. assessment/homework task) set small goals of what you want/need to achieve. This breaks each task down and it becomes more manageable

Create a study timetable Setting aside time each day/week for study is essential to keep on top of your school work This will assist you in completing all set tasks on time without being rushed, allowing you to put your very best effort into each task It is essential to achieve a BALANCE. You need to consider scheduling time for: - School work Sports trainings and other scheduled activities Family time Recreational/ leisure time for yourself Part-time work
