Class Pet Diaries Each class has 2 class pets
Every week, 2 children from each class will take a pet and the diary home Book to read at bedtime Book review Tell us about other books you like!

Physical development and PE
PE lessons are fed into the weekly routine PE lesson once a week – explicit skills taught Please send your child in wearing their PE kit (with the school logo) on their designated PE day Increase learning, reduce disruption Class 2 and Class 4 – PE on a Monday Class 1 and Class 3 PE on a Tuesday

Supporting your child at home
Home school books – for recording reading, we will write in them once a week recording their reading and if they needed support Tapestry Book bags/key ring Coat everyday Junk modelling – NO food packaging letter will be sent detailing what we can use PE – Class 2 and 4 Monday Class 1 and 3 Tuesday

Positive Behaviour Our Bee Rules
At Hampton Infant School and Nursery we have 5 golden rules. These rules help us to have a happy and successful school. They are: Be kind to others Be a good listener Be respectful towards yourself, others and the school environment Be hard working and challenge yourself Be responsible Be the best you can be!

General Information School Day: 8:40 – 3:00pm – soft start… If you need to speak to your child’s class teacher the best time to do this is at the end of the school day. Children must NOT use the climbing frame or other outdoor equipment before or after school.

Reminders If you need to contact your child’s class teacher please send an to: Text messages are sent out with reminders when appropriate. We are a nut aware school – no edible birthday treats. School Fund - £10 to the school office per term Make sure all your contact information is up to date with the school office Register your child for milk – free until they turn 5 Christmas show – ticketed (look out for the letter). Organised similarly to the harvest.

Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) Regular and punctual attendance at school is a legal requirement and essential for children and young people to maximise their educational opportunities. Since 2004, Local Authority officers (Education Welfare Officers or EWO), Headteachers (or Deputy/Assistant Headteachers) and the Police have had the power to issue fixed penalty notices for unauthorised absences. Under section 444 of the 1996 Education Act, an offence occurs if a parent or carer fails to secure their child’s attendance at the school where they are a registered pupil and the absence is not authorised by the school. A fixed penalty notice (FPN) can also be issued if a parent or carer fails to ensure their child is not present in a public place during the first 5 days of exclusion. Fixed penalty notices and other sanctions will be used only where parental cooperation in this process is either absent or deemed insufficient to resolve the presenting problem. Hampton Primary Partnership reserve the right to issue FPNs according to the ‘Penalty Notices Practice Guidance for Schools’ issued by AfC in 2014.

Welcome to HISNA Academic Year 2019-2020
Everyone is part of HISNA We help provide a social framework for you to meet up with other parents/carers and families We will hold events throughout the year for the children for you to attend if you want to We always need help and will ask throughout the year for you to support where you can from donating items for the fairs, helping run your class stall to baking for the year group bake sales Each class will have Class Reps who will help us throughout the year and get messages to you from us about events via and/or class What's App groups HISNA will send a newsletter every half term which will update you on money raised, events, money spent, and the diary dates for that term Our aim is to help raise money for the school and have fun whilst doing it If you have any ideas or wish to help us in a greater capacity then please do let us know on
