4 How to Implement: Guest Speaker
Identify the stakeholders Secure Agreements Collect information on students’ career interests Based on students’ interests, identify employers to ask to provide guest speakers Prepare students for the guest speaker Prepare the speaker Conduct the guest speaker visit and document it with photos Provide structured opportunities for students to reflect Obtain evaluations from students and the speaker Thank the guest speaker and recognize all stakeholders Caitlin- review each and let attendees respond. What has worked? Who were your most engaging speakers for the participants? What qualities do they have/approaches did they take? What was the content?

8 Project-Based Learning Group Activity
Groups- choose one person (occupation) in your group, have them to complete the “Tell My Story” template and plan one job shadow day collectively for a student using their occupation. In creating a job shadow experience for a student, what would a day look like for a student? What is the timeline? What would you plan during your individual shadow time? Lisa- can bring back together and share a couple if time permits
