Vision: Empowering students through transformative research experiences Mission: To ensure the quality, sustainability, and growth of the Project SEED (Summer Experiences for the Economically Disadvantaged) Programs Goal 1: Foster sustainability of Project SEED Goal 2: Identify and establish working relationships with stakeholders and promote growth Goal 3: Identify, implement, and promote essential elements of a high quality SEED program

Alaska 335 Summer I Students 119 Summer II Students 454 Total Students 98 Coordinators 143 SEED lab locations $384, in matching funds (nearly $40k more than 2018) Corporate funding from 3M, Gilead, Bio Rad, Chevron, and Boehringer Hawaii Puerto Rico

Project SEED Fundraising Efforts
Endowment is currently at $8.78 MM with an additional $1.39 MM in estate intentions. Joseph D. Loconti bequest to Project SEED for $500K $450K towards a new renewable scholarship endowment $50K towards Project SEED Programming efforts Donor Reception, Fall 2019: Project SEED students presenting their posters Reception, Fall 2018: A Conversation with Sir Fraser Stoddart – Champion, 50 Forward Campaign
