2017 #TEAMLUKE At Mahaney we know our purpose and our vision.
Purpose- Hmmm….that word transform….. More about that soon. This purpose seems very odd for a Construction Company don’t you think??? This is where I believe transformation starts. Identifying your purpose, creating the culture you want to exist for your employees and tying the two together. Transformation is a process – Has anyone ever bought an incubator for eggs to hatch in or been involved in one of your children's projects at school? “hatching eggs” You cant just stick some eggs in your office or home on the counter and expect them hatch right? Of course not, you have to buy or build the incubator and you have to create the perfect environment for these eggs to hatch. The perfect environment includes: Temperature – Eggs need to be kept at 99.5 degrees at all ties; just one degree higher or lower for a few hours can terminate the embryo. Humidity percent humidity must be maintained for the first 18 days; 65 to 75% humidity is needed for the final days before hatching. Ventilation- Egg shells are porous, allowing oxygen to enter and carbon dioxide to exit; incubators need to have holes or vents that allow fresh air to circulate so the fetuses can breathe. On top of the right environment – you also have to have the right tools. - High quality thermometers and hygrometers (a device that manages humidity0 are necessary tools for incubation). There is a whole lot more included in the process of hatching eggs, but you get my point. You can’t just shoot from the hip, not pay attention to the environment/culture and expect these eggs to hatch!
