3. Tryouts 8th grade Monday, August 19th 3:30 - 5:30
7th grade Tuesday, August 20th 3:30 - 5:30
Possibly carry both over to Wednesday, August 21st.
We will possibly have cuts for this season. If so, a list of players making a squad will be posted on the PRMS website the evening following the last day of tryouts.

4. PHYSICAL FORMS VERY IMPORTANT!
Physical Packet must be turned in before start of season
Physical must have been taken after May 1, 2019
Correct forms must be used
Forms available on website

5. Practice Times 3:30 to 5:30 each day.
Rides by 5:45. (try to work with other parents if this is an issue.)

6. Game Schedule
We will provide hard copies when season begins.

7. Playing Time
Varsity level teams will be based on performance in practice. Will not necessarily equal. Decided on by coaching staff. Will likely be running a 6-2 or a 5-1 offensive system.
Junior Varsity level teams will be equal playing time. Line-ups may vary depending on the skill level of the players, but will be equal.

8. Player Expectations Be coachable Be on time
Encourage your teammates and other players in the program
Be responsible with schoolwork
If you have a question about playing time, ask your coach about it at the following practice.
We ask that the players discuss playing time with coaches BEFORE parent contact. Thank you for helping teach the players about self-advocacy!

9. Participating in other sports
We encourage the players to play multiple sports, at this age it is very important
Please communicate with coaches early and often about conflicts.
If there is a conflict with a MATCH please let coaches know at least 1 week prior.
If there is a conflict with a PRACTICE please let coaches know at least 24 hours prior.

10. Out of School Volleyball CAN’T DO THIS
Please note, if you are playing for a school team, you are NOT allowed to participate in club or recreational teams until the season is over. This is a KSHAA rule.

11. CAN DO THIS
Private lessons are allowed during the season.

12. Uniforms and Equipment
We have new uniforms this season!
They need to be worn with black spandex
If your player would like to rent out from the school we have some available.
Knee pads are available for rent as well.
We will be ordering t-shirts immediately after tryouts are over, these will be used as warm-up shirts for games. We will hand out forms at practice and ask the girls to bring in $
This will be a required purchase.

13. Remind 101
We will be communicating reminders and announcements via the REMIND 101 app. We will be sending home information with the players after tryouts.
