Loving your neighbors is the symbolic sense to express love of Christians for one another, since all are sons and daughters of the same Heavenly Father. Did you know that God wants you to bless others who do wrong to you?

Naaman was army commander of the king of Aram. He was very important to his master and was highly respected. That’s because the Lord had helped him win the battle over Aram’s enemies. He was a brave soldier. But he had a skin disease.

The soldiers of Aram captured a young girl from Israel. She became a servant of Naaman's wife. The slave girl told the wife about the prophet in Samaria would could heal Naaman's disease.

Naamans' wife told him about the prophet who could heal him. When Naaman went to the king to ask if he could go to see the prophet, the king said "yes" and gave him a special letter for the king of Israel. On his trip, Naaman took 750 pounds of silver, 150 pounds of gold and 10 sets of clothes. When Naaman arrived in Israel, he gave the letter to the king. The letter said Naaman wanted to be healed of the skin disease.

Elisha, the prophet whom the slave girl referred to, heard that the king tore his robes. Elisha sent a messenger to the king. Tell Naaman to come and see me. Then he will know there's a prophet in Israel.

Loving your neighbors is the symbolic sense to express love of Christians for one another, since all are sons and daughters of the same Heavenly Father. In today’s story, Naaman’s army captured the little Israel girl and made her a slave. God helped her show love to Naaman, even though she was taken away from her family against her will. Just like God helped the servant girl helped Naaman get healed, God wants us to help those who wrong to us.
