Follow up Reminder to parents about the 30 minutes call ahead procedure. All parents must be placed on an “an expected visitor” list. Visitors may park in visitor spots when entering the building and in short term parking in the A-House Loop between 8:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. unless otherwise specified by security. Visitors entering the building must sign in at A-House and wear a visitor’s pass while on the premises. All visitors must present photo identification. Please comply with this procedure to ensure the safety of all students and staff. Visitors who do not call ahead will be prohibited from entering the building.

Being a Middle School Parent: Tips for the Digital Age
Talk with your child about technology. Educate yourself and stay informed. Know your child and adjust accordingly. Support the purpose of the school laptop. Let your child know that you are involved and interested in how he/she is using his/her school laptop. Be involved and interested without hovering. It’s okay to have some fun, too, but practice what you preach. Talk to other parents about technology use. Use a filter at home for personal devices to help keep the worst of the Internet at bay. Know that you have a partner in this.
