A specialized scientific institution in charge of information and researches. It deals with socioeconomic issues and follows-up the effecting strategic issues and global transformations. founded in 1988, by an elite of researchers and luminaries concerned with public affairs, with the aim of rationalizing, guiding, and following up public issues at the local, regional, and international levels, and analyzing the events and issues of the region as well as the concerns and preoccupations of the contemporary world.

6. Newspapers does not just delivering news it also opened its pages for opinion writers and researchers and make reports which is full of information.
The newspaper archives are among the most prominent of the information services.
Newspaper archive or clippings, are rich of information, especially for the decision makers, researchers, students and others….

7. SIRAJ 1,400,000 Articles were collected since 1992 till now.
250,000 articles were kept in microfiche.
1, are in tiff and pdf format.
Articles were selected from Lebanese and main arab newspapers, magazines and periodicals, lately organizational and governmental and research institutes websites had been added.

8. 2011 www.ccsdlib.com site was born,
its main purpose is to allow users to access the database which we called it at the beginning (MACNZ) .
All users can access and do their search through the records without any possibility to see the articles.

9. 2019 we lunched our new project SIRAJ (the name is not official yet).
The main goal is to make access to the full database including records and texts.
We took permission from most of the Lebanese newspapers and magazines and periodicals.
We still connecting with rest of the institutions to sign with them the contracts.

A monthly newsletter monitors the most important studies and articles published in the web.
