If the BG is within the goal range for 3 consecutive readings when performing every 2 hour checks, blood glucose measurements may be performed every 3 hours.
Resume every hour checks if blood glucose falls above or below goal blood glucose range at any time.
If the BG is within the goal range (121 – 180 mg/dL) for 3 consecutive readings when performing every 1 hour checks, BG measurements may be performed every 2 hours.
