Course Content - Literature
Component 1 2 hours Component 2 2 ½ hours Macbeth Post-1789 poetry (from an anthology supplied by WJEC) = % of qualification An Inspector Calls A Christmas Carol Two unseen poems = 60% of qualification

Revision at Home Take notes home Put them up around the house
BBC Bite size Apps - LitCharts YouTube – readings/analysis Re-read the poetry in the anthology Read to others then test their knowledge Take notes home Put them up around the house Add additional notes to them Use them – you could quiz them too!

Course Content - Language
Component 1 1 hour 45 mins Component 2 2 hours Questions on a fictional extract from a 20th century short story Creative writing (write a short story) = 40% of qualification Questions on two non-fiction texts (one 19th Century and one 21st Century) Two transactional writing tasks = 60% of qualification
