The percent of residents choosing an indication is shown on the y-axis. Gray bars represent PGY 1, black bars represent PGY 2, and white bars represent PGY 3. Significant improvement in performance (P < 0.05) with increasing postgraduate year was observed in referral at GFR < 30 ml/min/1.73 m2 and referral for dialysis setup at a GFR of 15 to 30 ml/min/1.73 m2 (marked with asterisk *).
