Lion Program From 1930 to 1967 the Lion rank was the highest Cub Scout Rank Current Program was piloted in early 2010’s (MN, MA, NY) Expanded to national pilot program in 2016 As of 2018 it is the first official rank that can be awarded in the current Cub Scout program
