OPENING: Why are toys important in our society? EQ: How are simple and complex machines used in toy invention? GPS: S8P3, S8P5, S8P2, S8P4Lab Safety: S8P1, S8CS9, S8CS4, S8CS4b, S8CS5a, S8CS6, S8CS2. WORK SESSION: Toy Invention Project Work on Draft Presentation which is due on May 2nd. (Use rubric to complete the portion of the project due on today) CLOSING: Each Group Make a Report to the Class. HOMEWORK: Work on Project.

GPS: SS8H2: The student will analyze the colonial period of Georgia’s history. WORK SESSION: Project: Get in groups and continue the activities in colonies Create a seal (Symbol) for your colony Turn in daily: Records of the progress made in the group.
