Homework 1 piece of maths and 1 piece of Spelling once a week. Children will have 6 statutory spellings and 4 spellings from the rule being learnt that week. The test will be the following Friday, on the 10 words learnt and 2 surprise words, making a total of 12. Homework is given out on a Friday to be completed for the following Friday. Please can we ask that all parents and carers sign their child’s diary for a Friday. Homework club is available on a Friday lunchtime where children can access computers for times tables.

Home time Please inform the office or your teacher if your child is being collected by someone else. Your child will not be permitted to leave with someone else if school hasn’t been informed for safeguarding reasons. Phone the office, tell the teacher in person or leave a note in the planner – letting your child know they must show the teacher first thing. Alternatively, just a note with your child is fine too!
