How to do your assignments

2. Finding Moodle You can do this on your phone, but a computer is easier
Go to the Sardis homepage
To find Moodle, go to Student information
Click on Moodle Login to take you to the Flex course

3. Your login information is the same as you use for email or one note.
Student number and password
Do not click Remember username If on a public computer

4. Only the courses you are registered in will be on your Dashboard page.
You will use the one that says “ SSS – Grade 9 Flex Assignments”

5. Carefully Read all information on each page
There will be information about deadlines, changes, etc.
Each time you login, there may be new information under announcements.
Scroll down to get to your lessons and assignments.

6. You will see green books and under the books, Quizzes

7. Click on the Book to open it, inside you will see the lessons
Read each lesson and follow the directions.
In the first book you need to click on the link, links are in blue.
Links will open in a new page, one reason to use a laptop or computer to navigate
Once you have completed the page click on the icon to move to the next page

8. When you open the link in the first lesson you will see this image
Click on the bottom “Get Organized” photo and follow directions
At the end is a quiz, it is the same quiz that is mandatory to do in the Flex website under the green book

9. When you click on Quiz, you will see something like this window.
It tells you how many attempts you may try the quiz
Or How many you have tried already
When you are ready to do a quiz, click on the attempt button

10. Once the quiz is open you will see one question per page.
In the quiz navigation box it tells how many questions.
You can click on any of these boxes to move around the quiz.
The next box gives information about the question.
You can move forward or backward using these buttons.

11. If you aren’t sure how to answer a question, you may flag the question.
Click on Flag (will say “Flag Question”
This will place a red marker on the question in doubt so you can go back to it later in the quiz.
You can then remove Flag once you have answered the question.

12. Once you are satisfied with your answers, click on the Finish Attempt button
It will open a new page
Click Submit all and Finish
Once you have submitted the quiz the teacher will be notified that it is ready to mark.

13. You are now ready to begin your flex course.
Deadline for submission of all assignments is end of Term 2
