3. Data Protection Manager Management Pack Overview
The Data Protection Manager Management Pack monitors the health and availability of Data Protection Manager including:
DPM Servers - Disk Backups
Protection Groups - Tape Backups
Tape Drives - Azure Backups
Tape Libraries - Health State monitoring for workloads such as
Data Sources Exchange Server, Hyper-V and SQL Server
Performance monitoring of the Data Protection Manager environment can be performed by using the Windows Server Operating System and SQL Server Management Packs and can include:
DPM Disk Space - DPM Server Memory Utilization
DPM Server Processor Utilization - DPM Server SQL Database size
The DPM Central Console can be used to manage DPM remotely

4. Configuring the Data Protection Manager Management Pack
Import the DPM Management Packs
Install a MMA on all DPM Servers
Install the DPM Central Console
Install and configure the DPM User Roles

There are no reports included in the Management Pack as DPM has its own built-in Reporting
