Humanities Art and D/T The Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age In the beginning… Cave paintings, Stone age necklace, Celtic designs from the Iron Age.. Science Computing Investigate the rock cycle/looking at fossils/light and dark/forces and magnets. Follow Purple Mash The Stone Age Boy Number – partitioning, Addition and subtraction using column method Handwriting, punctuation, Role on the wall, Alan Peat comprehension, writing for a purpose. Literacy RE/PHSE Music Maths Songs – looking at different beats and patterns – Mr. Chubb Being me in my world. Diwali and Christmas. PE Multi – skills/boot Camp music

Compare different rocks based on appearance and physical properties. Describe how fossils are formed. Recognise how shadows are formed. Recognise that they need light in order to see things and that dark is the absence of light. Partition 3 digit numbers. Solve problems with addition and subtraction: using concrete objects and pictorial representations, including those involving numbers, quantities and measures.
