I can present information using a variety of media or formats. VOCAB 3B LIST: You will receive a copy of the vocabulary words (pink). Write the parts of speech and synonyms of each word as Dr. George goes over them. BRONX MASQUERADE: Read pages (Lupe, Janelle) of Bronx Masquerade (you should have your own book with you) and complete the writing journal. If you do not have a book you will have to see if someone is willing to share. INDEPENDENT READING PROJECT PRESENTATIONS: We will begin presenting today. I will take volunteers first and then call names at random. During each presentation, you must sit quietly and complete the IR Book Talk Participation Chat. IT IS A GRADE! Thursday 10/17/2019 AGENDA Learning Target: SL2 I can present information using a variety of media or formats. VOCAB 3B LIST REVIEW: Each box has a term/definition/part of speech & a prompt in it. Read silently over each box and choose one box that you can easily respond to & write your own name in that box. Then walk around and ask your classmates to put their name on the box that applies to them on your sheet. You cannot have one anyone’s name in more than one box. BRONX MASQUERADE: Read pages (Sheila, Janelle, Lupe) of Bronx Masquerade (you should have your own book with you) and complete the writing journal. If you do not have a book you will have to see if someone is willing to share. Writing Journal #5: The open mic sessions in Bronx Masquerade have become an outlet for students to escape their daily struggles.
