Answer the following questions in complete sentences What is a modifier? What part of speech are modifiers? Why do we use modifiers? What is the difference between a misplaced modifier and a dangling modifier? Write one example of a misplaced modifier from the backside of the notes. Homework: Choice board picks, note the due date for webquest, notes, etc.

I will call you up for computers—When you get your computer, take the webquest(BYOD-Agenda with sticker on desk) log-on and close the computer Watch Brainpop Video (questions tomorrow) Time to go the blog—choose the link for the webquest

3 Working Activities–January 10, 2019
Complete the webquest—return the computer(gently push it in) Complete the sentences on the backside of your Modifier notes Read the choice boards project for Misplaced and Dangling modifiers—think about which ones you will complete(start planning on your own paper if you have time)  Brain Pop video 5 min. at end (ah… the 3rd type of modifier) Homework: make your choices for “Project Board!” complete notes(2 sides) and webquest—**Choice board & daily work for modifiers due next Tuesday! Note: When you go to the blog– make sure you start to pay attention to the class period for the correct information or links.
