JOE SHIRLEY ABOUT Joined Trinchero Family Estates in 1999 Has worked for Napa Cellars since 2006 Raised in Napa Valley; now makes his home with his family in Sonoma County. Master of Science in Enology, University of California at Davis. Started his winemaking career at Sonoma–Cutrer. Personal goal: To see a game in every MLB stadium in the U.S. Enjoys beer, power tools crossword puzzles and once bowled a 252. Considers his current position his “dream job”

Domenica Totty ABOUT Joined Folie à Deux in 2017 The Sonoma County native grew up in the eclectic, agricultural town of Sebastopol. Earned a degree in fermentation science from the University of California, Davis Her natural aptitude for science and a passion for creativity led her toward a career in winemaking Worked nearly 20 years in various roles at Beaulieu Vineyard Her experience has given her a profound understanding of how great wine is made – in the vineyard.

SOIL Napa Valley has the greatest soil diversity found in winegrowing regions around the world. Half of the world’s soil orders are found here. SUB–AVA’S There are now 16 sub–AVAs nestled within the Napa Valley AVA. CLIMATE classified as Mediterranean.

Sonoma County grows more than 60 varieties of wine grapes. Over 400 small and family owned wineries call Sonoma County home. Many are in their 3rd and 4th generations of ownership. California’s first commercial winery was founded here in 1857.
