During Reading Workshop, we will celebrate the end of our Unit 3 by preparing for a Readers Theater Performance! Your child will be placed into a group and given a role- Frog, Toad, or Narrator. Each day, they will work with their group on acting out their story, reading with fluency, and sounding like the character they are assigned! We will perform for one another on Friday!  During Read Aloud we will read another chapter book titled Poppleton Everyday. We will focus on retelling, getting to know characters, making predictions, and comparing and contrasting two characters in a story. Poppleton is a pig, so our shared reading poem is Ten Squeaky Clean Pigs! During Writing Workshop we will continue and finish up our Book Reviews! We will revise our finished reviews with a checklist and edit our writing (making sure our sentences all have S.W.A.G!) We will create a book cover for our finished review and share them with others.
