1 Phone Moves

2 Critical Information Penn State voice lines are tracked by building, room & jack location in the ENCS tracking system. Register voice moves within one business day. We must be able to provide correct location information to first responders. TNS tracks the location of all telephone locations to the wall jack level. This is critical information for the following reasons: Health Safety: TNS provides the Centre County 911 Office a daily feed of telephone location information. Accuracy of this information is very important in the event of an emergency and is used to dispatch the appropriate responder (e.g., Police, Ambulance or Fire) to the correct location. Trouble Ticket: Accurate telephone location is also required for effective user support in the event of a trouble ticket request for a specific telephone or location.
