Hiraeth: a Welsh word with no direct translation. The University of Wales attempts to define it as homesickness tinged with grief or sadness over the lost or departed. It is also defined as a deep longing for home or the past.

This year’s theme for the literary magazine is “Hiraeth”. You will be required to take 10 photos that illustrate YOUR interpretation of the word Hiraeth. You will then submit your best photo to the literary magazine.
