A negative effect size denotes a program that favored the intervention group (eg, a significantly greater decrease in screen time in the intervention group compared with the treatment group). Generally accepted criteria for effect-size magnitude are 0.2 = small, 0.5 = medium, and 0.8 = large.73,74
