Informal commands aka familiar (Affirmative)
Take the form and drop the . OR Just use the form if that’s easier to remember! parar --> devolver--> seguir--> tú s él / ella / ud ¡Para! ¡Devuelve! ¡Sigue!

Informal commands aka familiar (Negative)
To make a negative tú command, start with the form of the verb, drop the , and add the ending. parar--> devolver--> seguir--> yo o opposite tú -ar--> es -er/-ir--> as ¡No pares! ¡No devuelvas! ¡No sigas!

“Opposites attract” So once again…
verbs that end in -ar won’t take the -as ending, but instead will take verbs that end in -er or -ir won’t take the -es ending, but instead will take -es -as

-car, -gar, -zar (verbos piratas)
Remember this from ‘el pretérito? It’s back! We must change the -car, -gar, or -zar in order to preserve the sound; therefore, change -c to , -g to , and -z to . We then add the opposite ending, which will ALWAYS be since these are -ar verbs! -qu -gu -c -es

Vin Diesel has 10 weapons. Venir ¡Ven! *** Come! Decir ¡Di! *** Say! Tell! Salir ¡Sal! *** Go out! Leave! Hacer ¡Haz! Do! Make! Tener ¡Ten! *** Have! Ir ¡Ve! Go! Poner ¡Pon! *** Put! Ser ¡Sé! Be! ***You could also change 5 of these verbs to the ‘yo’ form and make the ‘-go’, “go away”.

Irregular Negative Commands
ser / estar dar All of the other forms that made the ‘-go’ “go away”, can now add ‘–gas’. ¡No vayas! Don’t go! ¡No seas! / ¡No estés! Don’t be! ¡No des! Don’t give! ¡No vengas! ¡No digas! ¡No salgas! ¡No hagas! ¡No tengas! ¡No pongas!

Affirmative commands with OBJECT PRONOUNS
With the affirmative in reflexives and DOP’s, all we did was _________ the object pronoun to the infinitive. We do the same with the AFFIRMATIVE command form. i.e.: Ponte, Báñate, Déjame Note: we add an accent mark to keep the stress in the original place. (Un, Dos, Tres BAM!- Count back 3 vowels) ATTACH

Negative commands with OBJECT PRONOUNS
With the negative in reflexives and DOP’s, all we did was place the pronoun _________ the conjugated verb. We do the same with the NEGATIVE command form. i.e.: No te pongas, No te bañes, No me dejes BEFORE
