A wallet with: International Passport Copy of your International Passport SIS card and World Assistance Card Money (€ 200 – up to you) to exchange in China Credit card (check your bank whether it works in China). Exchange money at airport + € 1000 = no handling charge KEEP THE RECEIPT ATM’s available to withdraw money Check with your bank whether your card works in China DON’T exchange money on the street (fake!) 20 Communication Calling home (gf, mum, …) Check your provider if it’s possible (usually it is, but possibly you need to activate it first) Check your phone (older models can give problems) Quite expensive buy card in China ( +/-100 RMB) (don’t forget to give your number to your friends) Internet cafés everywhere This is very cheep QWERTY
