2. 2 About Østfold University College We are located in three neighbouring towns Halden, Sarpsborg and Fredrikstad, in the south-eastern corner of Norway. We are a medium-sized university college with 4.000 students and 450 staff members.

4. 4 Study programmes Østfold University College offers a number of bachelor programmes and a few master programmes, several of which include a period of study abroad. Most of our study programmes are taught in Norwegian, however we also offer a number of courses taught in English, German and French.

19. 19 International Relations Østfold University College participates in a number of international co- operation programmes within LLP/Erasmus and Nordplus. We have bilateral agreements with European, American, Canadian and Australian universities Norway has adopted the ECTS credit and grading system and our studies are internationally compatible
