Accessible by the manager. 2.Computer that controls lights, lifts, ventilation and other equipments inside common building spaces. Accessible by staff. 3.Family level computing. Accessible by the family. Exchanges information through internet with the family and the managment.

Building level –The main computer receives all required information and redistributes this, processed into useful information, to the apartments. –The manager that operates the building and it’s site receives all necessary information on the computer. PT infrastructure

Legal : complying to (international) regulations on energy saving, … Social : lessen the burden for future generations,... Main problems with energy use Global : environmental (global warming, depletion, waste,...) Personal : energy bill (energy prize, regulating taxes,...)

Water consumption –Shower : “Five minutes is enough!” –Domestic appliances : “Load the washing machine economically!” Opportunities

Central computer and satelites software with persuasive reminder forms that can be disable or enable by its users or in bad behavior cases by manager. Goals Education towards energy use Create awareness of the energy quantity (KW/h) needed for each appliance. Persuasion based on freedom of choice. PT tool as a reminder Reward or punishment in function of your behavior

How far punishment for a bad behavior can go? Till what point PT tool can offend you? Towards society Who can have access to your PT tool data? Is everyone able to see your energy use? Is it possible to catalogue individual energy consumption? Is it ethic to invest in this technology when there are people dying with hungry?
