TM meeting, KNMI, 12 November 2003 Conclusions 222RN horizontal distribution similar for all 4 models synoptic variabiltity well reproduced by all TM models similar vertical mixing TM3(KNMI) and TM5 TM3(MPI): stronger vertical mixing (exception: TM3(KNMI) / TM5 stronger regional convection in the tropics) significant influence at monitoring stations SF6 significant difference in interhemispheric mixing: TM-models similar, but IMAGES stronger gradient significant difference in troposphere – stratosphere exchange: TM3(KNMI) and TM5(JRC) strongest gradient stratosphere
