3. Ephesians 2:8-10 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

4. Matthew 5:13-16 13 You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

6. World View Week this past week! It was so amazing to see the promise and the potential of the young people of our church! They have good works which God has prepared beforehand for them to walk in!

7. It is our privilege and our responsibility to help enable and encourage them in the good works which God has prepared beforehand for them to walk in!

11. Satan attempts to distract. Entertainment Amusement - amuse means to quit thinking. Self-focused, self--directed

12. Satan attempts to discourage. Circumstances, difficulties, get us involved in sin, and then sin will have negative consequences and we get consumed with trying to overcome the negative consequences of sin.

13. Satan attempts to destroy. Sin carries within itself the seeds of its own self-destruction, and a sad side effect of this is that the works which God intends for us to do never happen.
