A clinical residency is a planned program of postprofessional clinical and didactic education for physical therapists that is designed to significantly advance the physical therapist resident's preparation as a provider of patient care services in a defined area of clinical practice. (APTA)

University of Indianapolis/Body One Physical Therapy is credentialed by the American Physical Therapy Association as a postprofessional residency program for physical therapists in Orthopaedics
We have received accreditation by the ABPTRFE on July 31, 2013
Accreditation is for 5 years

14. Resident’s compensation
The resident will receive salary for patient care from Body One equal to 70-75% of a new grad (~$40,000)
.8 FTE in clinic (Practice/Mentoring/Didactic/Interdisciplinary time)
Insurance benefits provided by Body One
Graduate assistantship at UIndy will cover at least 9 credits earned
Can apply for loan deferment
