1. Zhinong worked in the Dupree Lab at the University of Cambridge as a research assistant for 12 years. She was an excellent scientist, and also wonderful to work with. She always had a kind word and smile for everyone, and we all miss her terribly. November 2008, Magdalene College, Cambridge.

2. August 2011. Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. Lab croquet day – when we discovered how competitive she was, and how good at croquet she was!! March 2010. Biochemistry Department Science Day, Cambridge. We organised a day of science activities for local children. This is Zhinong and I having our photo taken with a picture of Sir Fred Hopkins, a Nobel prize winner who worked in the same building as us.
