2 Overview The 34th Annual Crime Stoppers International Conference will be in Barbados on September 29 - October 2, With the theme of “Reinventing for the Future, the 2013 Conference will be a milestone in the history of the Crime Stoppers movement. Crime Stoppers delegates, law enforcement partners and other stakeholders from around the world will come together with discuss three top issues of international importance and determine the various interventions that will be embarked upon.

3 Thematic Areas Trafficking of Human Beings & Crimes Against Children IP Crimes & trafficking in illicit goods Corruption, Financial Crimes & the Financing of Terrorism Expected Outcomes Determination of the Crime Stoppers response and development of interventions with respect to each of the thematic areas. Stronger working relationships with law enforcement agencies, targeted sectors and corporations. Ratification of the organization’s strategic direction.

Session Two The second session on will focus on Trafficking of Human Beings. Workshops – 17.45 The workshops will be led by the persons who presented at the plenary in conjunction with a CSI Director. The discussion will focus on the role of Crime Stoppers in each of the subject areas, with the intent of deriving action plans that can form the basis of a strategic intervention(s) in each of the areas. Workshop One – Supporting the UN Protocols. Workshop Two - Partnering the AFP and the Global Virtual Taskforce in addressing Internet child pornography and cyber bullying. Workshop Three - Supporting the work of the International Organization on Migration, Workshop Four - Partnering with the CNN Freedom Project globally and the infrastructure necessary to receive tips.
