Thank you for attending the controls products portion of our Go to Webinar meeting today. This presentation takes place of our 2008 North American Sales Meeting which was originally scheduled to take place this week. As we would have preferred to present this information to you in person, we will have to make due with an online presentation and conference call dialog. Please feel free to pause me and ask questions at anytime during the presentation.
The agenda for today is simple. I plan to give you an overview and highlights of our upcoming G+ Mini product, Sway Control System Series 2 and our new Drive Simulator package.

2. G+ Mini Launch Date: January, 2009
G+ Mini Introduction
As you may be aware, we were initially planning to launch the G+ Mini in September of this year, however, due to delays in completing the software, we have decided to push the launch out until January of 2009 in order to maximize our field test time and market awareness by avoiding a holiday launch.

5. G+ Mini Software Concept
G+ Mini has two access levels:
Basic
Parameters are displayed in G+ Series 3 format. Available selections and navigation is nearly identical to P3-S2.
Advanced
Parameters are displayed in G+ Series 3 format. Available selections and navigation is identical to G+ Series 3 plus new features.
P3 Series 2
G+ Series 3
G+ Mini has two Access levels:
The Basic access level provides everything needed for a technician to program a drive to handle basic applications with as few keystrokes possible. The Basic access level of the G+ Mini was designed to include all of the features of the P3-S2. Although the parameter display is like the G+ series 3, the content and navigation is nearly identical to the P3-S2 to minimize the learning curve.
The Advanced access level opens up the software to the endless Material Handling application possibilities of the G+ Series 3. In this mode, features that were not available in the Basic mode are now available by simply changing the access level parameter to Advanced. Rather than reconfiguring the drive and having to learn yet another parameter set as in the P3-S2, the parameters of the G+ Series 3 will be revealed by simply arrowing up and down on the keypad.

Some of G+ Mini Highlights include:
Simplified replacement and downtime for 1-5 HP by having an identical footprint as the P3-S2.
Flat Heat sink designs are available, but reserved for OEM specific applications. Please consult the factory regarding these opportunities.
The hardware maintenance monitor feature is one of many available diagnostic capabilities of the G+ Mini.
It can provide:
Run time data of drive cooling fans, and number of run commands issued
Maintenance data and replacement information for the various drive components
kWh data
Highest peak current that has occurred and the output frequency at the time the peak current occurred
Motor Overload Status Information
And Detailed information about the present Run command and frequency reference source selection
The G+ Mini also includes a Hardware Baseblock feature that meets EN954-1 SIL3. (Next Slide explains details.)

7. Safety What is Hardware BaseBlock?
Many Specifications are now calling for enhanced safety ratings at the component level. Several industry standards have emerged - EN-954-1, IEC and ISO 13849, all of which have roots back to European certifications by TUV and references to EN954-1.
EN954-1 contains requirements for safety-related parts of control systems which are specified by five category levels.
The Categories represent a classification of the safety-related parts of a control system with respect to their ability to withstand faults and their behavior in the event of a fault.
Previous generation BaseBlock inputs (External BB) were only software regulated which means that if the CPU fails in an unknown state, the CPU / software may not recognize the Base Block input and shut the drive down accordingly.
The Hardware Baseblock combines the software input directly to the CPU as well as interrupts the gate firing signals through a tri-state buffer.
Safety Critical controls have emerged from the Food and Beverage industry and are now carrying over into the Material Handling Industry. Many safety critical application specifications are requiring that VFD controls meeting this criteria.

Parameter Back-up Function in detachable 24VDC Terminal Block
Reduced down-time in the event of failure by quickly replacing any damaged drive without loss of programming.
Save Time, Avoid Repetition
Control parameters need only be set once with the G+ Mini. They are automatically saved to 24VDC control terminal board memory allowing for quick replacement if necessary. The replacement drive will be automatically updated with the latest parameter settings.
