Je hebt deze opdracht naar behoren uitgevoerd als je met iemand routinematig kunt overleggen over aanpassing van je weekprogramma,

Situation You have a temporary part-time job in a call-centre. The people who work there make most of their calls to international businesses. You are one of the few Dutch speaking employees. You would very much like to plan your holidays. Unfortunately, you all seem to want to go in the same weeks….

Assignment for 4 students teamwork roleplay Tip: make four prints of the calendar on the next page

Assignment: You will have to record a conversation between you and three other students (call centre employees). You discuss the arrangements you have to make so that each of you can have three weeks’ holiday over the summer, and 10 more days, somewhere in the year. 1)Print the next page four times. 2)Each of you has to block 5 weeks: think of (fictitious) things you are planning to do in those weeks. 3)Now get together and work out a schedule so that each of you can have three weeks holidays and 10 more days off during the year. 4)Try to convince the others where necessary. Give arguments (my partner has already booked a holiday etc.…) 5)Record your conversation or present the result in class or to your teacher.

1)Think of a list of 15 Dutch words that have to do with making appointments, fixing dates and changing schedules. You can use the following link to look up the translation (but a conventional dictionary may work just as well…) http://dictionaries.travlang.com/DutchEnglish http://dictionaries.travlang.com/DutchEnglish 2) You can also use an English – English dictionary. Http://dictionary.cambridge.org. Http://dictionary.cambridge.org Try, for instance, the word ‘appointment’. Make a Word web out of your words: appointments
